While absorbing the beautiful venue - an art nouveau hall next to the river- and soaking in the special atmosphere - Yes, there was something in the air that night- time flew...
And then there they were . It was so surreal first - standing in the second row watching them perfrom...Mesmerising! I couldn't avert my eyes -or ears- from Blixa though...Despite his age, his aura and the power of his voice knocks you over!
The dynamic between band and audience was simply fantastic - they seemed to enjoy themselves as much as we were...and so they turned an ordinary evening into a feast for the senses!
But after more than two hours, a lot of old and new earworms and two encores they called it a night - with Blixa blowing kisses to the audience...
After they departed we were left drunken with bliss but also stiff with the cold of the sudden division...
As soon as I awoke from my temporary stiffness I tried to get my hands on a setlist - and succeeded!!! And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I ran into Jochen Arbeit
-in due course guitarist of the Einstüzende Neubauten...He signed my setlist!!! WAH!!!! Oh brother...

Yeah, you should! It was wicked ~ in a strange yet fascinating way
I'm glad I got the opportunity to check them out live - got a spare ticket from a friend...
It's funny how things often seem to collide in a murphy's-law-kind-of-way...Happens to me a lot...
And yeah you better not bring a jacket
I hope to see some of your photography on here at some point.
I hate dullness...can't get worse than that!
This actually reminds me of that Nick Cave song I've been listening to all evening...
"People often talk about being scared of change
But for me I'm more afraid of things staying the same
'Cause the game is never won
By standing in any one place
For too long"
It's from one of my favourite songs from his new album and called 'Jesus of the moon'...It's so sad, desperate and melanchonic...
